Affordable, person-centred cancer care delivered through the generosity and power of community.
They are an innovative, compassionate, community-driven organisation that provides holistic, person-centred care. They support cancer clients and their families in retaining their sense of control and balance, whilst at all times giving hope to those in challenging circumstances. In 2022-2023, they delivered 5,060 complementary therapies to their clients and carers as well as holistic education, wellness retreats and group programs.
CWS has been 100% self-funded since inception through their op shops, fundraising activities and the generosity of their community.
My journey with this incredible organisation began with the design of their 2022/23 Annual Report—a project that allowed me to showcase their inspiring work in a way that truly resonated. From that initial collaboration, I’ve had the privilege of working on countless projects with their dedicated team.
One of the most exciting collaborations on the horizon is their milestone celebration in 2025. Marking 20 years of supporting people living with cancer, this event will highlight two decades of compassion, innovation, and community care. I am honored to contribute to such a significant occasion, helping to bring their vision to life through thoughtful and engaging design.
Being part of their journey and seeing the positive change they create continues to inspire me. It’s collaborations like these that remind me why I love what I do—turning meaningful stories into designs that connect and celebrate.
